WHERE IS FIELD TRIP?
We’re located in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada at Historic Fort York & Garrison Common. The site sits at the foot of Bathurst Street and represents an amazing piece of the city’s rich history. Here it is on a Google Map.
WHEN IS FIELD TRIP?
This year’s Field Trip will take place on Saturday, June 2 & 3. Gates will open at 1pm both days, and the festivities will wrap up at 11pm on Saturday and 10pm on Sunday.
WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS?
Right here or at Toronto independent music retailers Rotate This (186 Ossington Ave.) and Soundscapes (572 College St.).
WHERE CAN I FIND SET TIMES?
We’ll have those for you a little closer to the festival.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE MEDIA ACCREDITATION?
Media applications for festival accreditation will be open very soon. Approved outlets will be contacted closer to the festival.
CAN I VOLUNTEER?
Yes! We will begin accepting volunteer applications for 2018 on March 28. Check back here then for info!
RAIN OR SHINE?
Yes. Unless there’s lightning, we will be out there.
FIELD TRIP IS FAMILY FRIENDLY?
Definitely. Programming a family-friendly event is hugely important to us and we welcome kids 12 years old and under for free, so long as they’re accompanied by an adult ticket holder (maximum two children to one adult). Every year’s Day Camp tops the last and our “intergenerational play space” features an amazing program of children’s activities for all ages.
CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK?
Unlike most festivals, we’re happy to let you in and out.
WHAT CAN I BRING?
Sealed snacks and bottles of water. Blankets, small backpacks, non-DSLR cameras (no detachable lenses) are all good. Strollers, small folding chairs and small umbrellas are totally fine. No beach umbrellas … and sorry, no tents.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Every creature under the sun has a place in our hearts, but unfortunately we can only allow humans and service animals at Field Trip.
IS THERE PARKING ON SITE?
There is vehicle parking at Canadian Exhibition Grounds within close walking distance to Fort York / Garrison Common. The site is easily accessible by bike, on foot and via TTC. There is no RV parking or camping available.
